Ceremonies That Feel Like You
Laid-back, heartfelt & completely personal. Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Tweed, Hinterland and beyond. Let's ChatImage by Karla Paniagua
👈 this is me trying to escape the frame right after I ask the couple to kiss.
I'm a mum of four 😬, trying to be a morning boxer… and the person still thinking about doing your vows while I'm doing the dishes.
Originally from Mexico, I came to Aus a loooooong time ago (yes, I do ceremonies in Spanish too!) for university, met my husband, never left, and now we're based on the southern Gold Coast.
From laid-back beach mornings to venue-fancy affairs, every ceremony I write is built around one thing: it has to sound completely, unmistakably like the two of you.
Fair warning: I get attached. By the time your big day arrives, we'll have chatted so much that when it's over, I genuinely miss you. I call it post-wedding break-up syndrome. Anyway, enough about me, let's chat about you.
Get to know Ellie →Whether you want simple or spectacular, there's a ceremony with your name on it.
Just the two of you, two witnesses, and words that actually mean something.
Explore →Up to 20 guests. Intimate, heartfelt, and absolutely no awkward seating charts.
Explore →A full ceremony for your closest 30, 50, 80 people. Tears, vows, the works.
Explore →Your love story, meticulously written for your audience. Plus your weirdly specific playlist.
Explore →Wedding in two languages? Spanish & bilingual ceremonies are a big part of what I do.
Spoiler: it's easier than you think
We start with a call, no pressure, just a chat to make sure we click, check your date, and talk through what kind of ceremony feels right for you.
Every couple needs to lodge a NOIM, a legal requirement at least one calendar month before your ceremony. We go through it together and I take care of the rest.
This looks different for everyone. Some couples want every detail crafted from scratch; others just need the essentials sorted. Either way, I'm here for as much or as little as you need.
I arrive early, run the ceremony, and handle all the legal signing on the day. Afterwards I lodge everything officially so you can just enjoy being married.
Just the legals. Simple and intentional.
Let's be real: not everyone wants the full production. Some of the most beautiful ceremonies I've been part of have been the tiny ones. Just the two of you, a witness or two, and a few words that actually mean something.
A legals-only wedding doesn't mean cold or rushed. I'll make sure it feels warm, personal, and completely you, whether it's just a few of us on a beach at sunrise, or a quiet backyard with your dog as the ring bearer.
Keep It SimpleWhere I Celebrate
Based on the southern Gold Coast, I'm most at home between Southport and Byron Bay, but I love an adventure. Brisbane is always on the cards, and anywhere further just needs a conversation.
Brisbane: I do lots of weddings in Brissie, especially Spanish ceremonies. Just a small travel fee. Further away? Ask and we'll work something out.
Kind words from couples I've had the honour of marrying
"We couldn't have asked for a better celebrant than Ellie! Our wedding was Chilean-Australian, and she made it truly special… making sure every single word made sense for us and for all our guests."
"Ellie is absolutely amazing! We had a small, casual surprise wedding on the weekend, and she helped us pull it all together perfectly. She's such a fun, bubbly person and was just as excited about the surprise as we were!"
"Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Ellie. We feel so lucky to have found someone who does their work with so much love and beautiful energy for such an important beginning!!!! 🥰"
Dos culturas, un amor.
I'm a native Spanish speaker, originally from Mexico, and I'd love to bring that warmth to your day. Whether your ceremony is fully in Spanish, entirely in English, or a beautiful blend of both so every guest feels part of the moment, I've got you covered. It's one of my favourite kinds of ceremony to create.
